但這還不是定案

美國政府通知國會後

國會將會對台軍售案進行討論

若無反對意見才會依計畫進行下去

US lawmakers have 30 days to comment on the proposed sale. If there are no objections, it would proceed.

此次軍售項目主要是

防衛型武器  defensive weapons

沒有軍方一直想買的F-16戰機

F-16 fighter jets, an item highly desired by Taiwan's military

此次軍售項目計有

114 Patriot missiles ($2.81bn)

114枚愛國者飛彈  

60 Black Hawk helicopters ($3.1bn)

60架黑鷹直升機

通訊設備

2 Osprey mine-hunting ships ($105m)

2艘鶚級獵雷艦

美國政府提到

此次軍售有助維持區域內的

政治穩定 political stability
